These visuals are ideal for people who benefit from the consistent use of visual language, and offer AAC users consistent access to frequently used language throughout the day. During classroom ad childcare routines, transitions, or moments of dysregulation, point to the relevant symbol as you speak to model language and offer the person a chance to respond or express themselves. Use during play, group learning, and care routines to support language-rich interactions.
